When laid down, shelves or chairs.

Vertically, the legs of the desk.

Low table when defeated.

Furniture that can be used for many purposes.

I made it myself in 2004.

(Create a total of 8)

Below is a photo I used 17 years ago.

The top plate of the above desk is loaded with pine laminated lumber W1200D600.

The top plate can also be purchased at the following site. (W1400.)

↑ It’s a little difficult to understand, but if you knock it down, it will become a low table.

(Glass is placed on the top plate.)

 

Flexible BOX is still in active use today.

The photo below is the current one.

(All 8 created in 2004 are still used as of 2021)

The top plate is 4.8M with 3 pieces of Tamo’s 4 width lumber W1600D750t35 lined up.

Four flexible boxes as legs for the desk counter.

Two are used as chairs and the other two are used as printer stands.

I use it as a printer stand,

By chance, the printing paper fits perfectly.

 

 

The concept is

① Simple and timeless design, and versatile

(2) Since it is made of solid wood (Western red cedar), it can be used for a long time because it feels aged.

③Since the material uses mass-produced products, it can be produced at low cost.

 

How to create.

Create with W700D235H476. (Unit is mm)

Dimensions are the most important.

The material used is mass-produced SPF material 2×10.

The regulation width of 235 mm remains the same, and the lengths are 700 mm x 2 and 400 mm x 2.

You can combine to create one flexible BOX.

If you make it with reference to this blog, here are some notes.

① The sitting height is 476 mm, so it is a little higher.

Fine-tune the dimensions to suit your body size and taste.

(2) The joint is only fixed with screws. I used a stainless steel screw of about 10 cm and made a pilot hole for the screw. I think it’s tough if you don’t have an electric screwdriver when installing the pilot holes and screws. I also need a saw to cut the material.
